Ok I used to skateboard(thank God i quit) but that was 18 months ago. Anyways, just below the knee cap,it has been swelling and it hurts alot, especially when I run or do squats with weight, and I do alot of things like that ( im 14) Any help would be appriciated.

sound sliek tendonitis......I have it, however mind do swell, may need to have it looked at. i Fyou fell on it hard you may have damaged you patella or somthing.

Thing is, it's just below my knee, and there isnt any tendons there is there?

They are behind the knee- cap...tendons attach muscle to bone, and yes you have muscles on your chin, and they too can get inflamed........and the patella( kneecap) is actualy a bone in a huge ligament( maybe its a tendon) that attaches the joints together at knee. Dunno i say get it checked out.

Go see a doctor. If it bothers you enough to post it here, it must be really antagonizing you. Have it checked before it gets worse.

Just for info there is the patellar tendon immediately below the knee.
At 14 your skeleton is still maturing and there are conditions that you can get related to this which need to be checked out by a physician.
As carivan says, you need to see a doctor.

Thanks guys ( and if it helps, in the last 18 months, it hasnt really gotten any worse, its just kind of off and on
