faster recovery time??

i was wondering if there is anything i can do,eat,or drink for a faster recovery?

creatine, l-glutaman, bcaa's.......all have shown to increase recovery, mainly l glutaman

are they ok to take at 14 years old and i have been working out for a week and a half now

um, no.......you haven't been working out long enoguh to need these, if your still beat from your past one.....then either rest, or go a lil lighter...You will be very very sore from the 1st 2 weeks or so, of working out which is normal. IT s aright of passage so to say, dont' worry it pwill past, give it a few moths, and you'll hardly ever get sore.

Rest builds muscle, not working out.

Get a good whey protein with good amino acid profile.......that shoudl be all you need, 5lbs cost you abotu 40bucks.......100% optimum whey is pretty good.

thanks and i have a question about the protein. im a little on the chunky side and i just want to know if taking protien will help build muscle and no fat?

get one with a lower carb ratio......I'm quite thick too..... so i get one thats lower carb.....100% optimum whey has liek 23g protein per scooo...2 carbs.....5 fat......abotu 110 calories. Whey protein is one of the "cleanest" form of protein out nowdays.


So yes in a since it will help build muscle, after you workout drink it with water.
