phase?

Right now I am lifting five days a week (mon-fri) towards progressive gains, i.e 4 sets 12-8 reps. No cardio. I am looking to start a cutting phase and I was wondering is someone could recommend one?

Thanks in advance,
Brian

cutting = reduce carbs and cardio.

thats it man. a good clena diet, lots of protein and cardio will make the difference. dont forget to eat 6-7 smalls meals a day in order to accelerate your metabolism.

First things first, increasing your workout intensity will get you jump started. Cutting calories too fast will result in muscle loss immediately. If you are eating a clean diet now, simply stay where you are in calories and up your intensity. Add in drop sets, super sets, and a day or so of cardio. When that plays out, start a sensible calorie cut, for instance 250 calories per day to begin. Will not be a shock to the system, and workouts won't suffer. As this runs its course, make another cut, either from calories, which I would do, or from adding more cardio, etc. and diet combo. Creating a caloric deficit is your way to tap into your fat stores.
