Hello everyone, I am new to this site and I will have my profile up shortly. In the mean time I have a question regarding my training schedule. I currently have a 5 day workout plan. Day 1 - Chest/triceps. Day 2 - Lower body, forearms. Day 3 - Rest. Day 4 - Back, biceps, shoulders. Day 5 - Rest. My question is; should I instead work my chest, back, and shoulders on Day 1 and work my triceps and biceps on Day 4.

Welcome to FreeTrainers!!! Love the quote in your post; looks a bit fimiliar to me. Hmmmm...... ;)
You're asking a good question, but I'm not totally sure what your goals are. Post those and we can help a bit better.

I would hesitate to work back and chest on the same day on account of they are both major muscle groups and both require alot of energy. I try not to work major muscle groups on the same day.

I wouldn't work them on the same day routinely but as an occasional shocker it can work fairly well. I do it when I know I'm going to be away from the gym for several days and can turn the idle time into recovery time.
