Really would apprecicate some help here guys...this is so frustrating. Ive just eaten a large plate of Chicken with Rice...and I am now more hungry than I was before I started eating. Why am I still hungry!
Before the chicken and rice i was sort of hungry, kinda peckish...now i feel starving like I want a massive bag of sweets. Im cutting at the moment, so eating 6 350ish calorie meals a day.
Could this be some weird chemical imbalance or something, triggered by eating...why is it that nothing I eat seems to satisfy my hunger in the evenings?
What do you guys use as hunger satisfying food?
Cheers,
Jez.

if you still hungry it is beacuse your nutrient requirement are not filled. need, perhap, fat.
and how old are you? what is your activity level?

If it was white rice forget it! No fiber. You should add in lots of green vegetables and more chicken. If you are trying to cut then NO rice.

When I'm feeling really hungry I usually start my evening meals with soup or a salad then go on to my main meal. Depending on the type of diet you are on this might help you. Also, make sure you are drinking enough water, when you are thirsty (dehydrated), it can sometimes feel like hunger.

Hi All,
Thanks for the replys.
The rice was brown, and yes I did have veg's with it.
You make a good point about having soup etc before the main meal. I guess that way your having a 2 course meal, which even if only containing the same calories would make you think your eating more, over a longer period of time.
I'll try it.
The reason I am eating 6x350 calorie meals, is that I read here that to cut I should be having 2000 calories per day (my maintenance is 2700, therefore this should be about 1 1/2 lbs per week lose). I was also told I should have 6 meals per day, which would = 350 calories per meal.
Any suggestions welcome
I am 26, 170lbs, i dont know my bodyfat unfortunatly, I dont have a gut, but I also dont have a 6 pac, fairly musclular though.
Regards,
Jez.

How many times a week are you doing cardio?
you can eat whateever you want as long as you burn them!
maybe you still hungry because you cut your diet to fast. i think you where eating more before starting this meal, it is understandable that you are hungry now. dont worry, you will get used to it. if you dont, well add some more food and then after getting used to that new diet, cut it more and more.

Usually when I have a protein shake with a meal it fills me up quicker.
