I tried posting this in the supplements board with no response so I will try it again. One of my buddies gave me almost a whole bottle of Anotesten. I haven't ever heard of it and couldn't find too much on it, so I am asking if anyone else knows anything about it. Should I use it, or trash it? And what it does to your body......good or bad.

I also was curious as to whether or not just one bottle would be beneficial at all, or if it would just be a waste. and if I should take it, when and why.

Any sort of an answer would be appreciated since i haven't seemed to get any response.

What is your age? One of the main ingredients is DHEA...this is normally only helpful to "older" folks. Other than that it is simly trib and saw palmetto, not much new and exciting here.

Besides, it is made by Muscletech, is it not? Creatine syrum ring any bells?

First off thanks for the response,

I am 21 years old and I am trying to gain as much mass as is healthy and possible. The anotesten is a muscletech product, but I haven't heard of creatine syrum. I was looking into buying some creatine, but didn't know the difference between the two really.

I have found a lot of great info on this site about creatine, but none on anotesten. If you would care to elaborate on the difference I would appreciate it.

I am sorry, I assumed you knew the score on Creatine Serum. It has been known for a long time this stuff is a scam. They were actually sued about it. Creatine is unstable in a fluid, and turns rapidly to a waste product, creatinine.

Your best bet in creatine is to buy the powdered version...just make sure you purchase the bottle that has the Creapure label as that is the best kind of creatine out there!

Im sitting in the lab today and bored as heck ! i decided to do a stability test and it seems creatine is quite stable in water, and slightly acidic water, ive been monitoring the stability of the creatine in a aquesous enviorment through HPLC analysis....creatinine is simply the cyclized version of creatine, when creatine converts to creatinine a molecuyle of water is expelled ! the transformation can be tracked due to the different retention times of cyclic compounds versus aliphatic chains ! Creatine may bnot be stable over a number of days, but at room temperature it is stable for 8 hours so far ! to accelerate the time equation, i am going to heat the compound in water to 60 degrees for 1 hour which will mimic 24 hours at room temperature !
