I've heard about 21's for biceps. I was wondering if a person can do 21 for triceps? If not, what kind of exercises work for the tri's?

You can do 21's with virtually any exercise but it depends on what your goals are. I find the best work for triceps is right after chest since they're pre-fatigued. Behind the back weighted dips supersetted with overhead tricep extensions followed by cable push downs might get you a bit of a burn. :)

yeah you can do tricep 21's. You take a dumbbell and with both hands under the end of the dumbbell and go behind you head. Do a full up and down 7 times. the go from the bottom of the lift to the middle of the head for 7 reps. Finally go from middle of head to the top of the lift for 7 more reps. It is kinda hard to explain so if anyone else know what i am talking about help me out.

You can do 21's for triceps, but there really are better ways to work them. The main reason I use db 21's are as a shocking exercise. They basically pre-fatigue both the peak and the lower part of the bicep before doing the actual curl. If you're doing 21's for any body part though, make sure you do the half reps before the full reps, not after.

It all depends on what your looking for in a tricep exercise. If you your looking for mass, closed grip presses are good. If you looking for definition, try dumbbell kickbacks.

I like to superset tri's with bi's but this is not law, you can do a variety of routines and the more the better. Just keep the reps in the 10-15 range and reduce the rest and you will FEEL IT!!!

I prefer skull crushers. Done right they are very effective.
I usually do 21's on my biceps to cut them up.

Yes you can, but why would you want to? They will build no mass if that is what you are after!! 21 type exercises fatigue the muscle. Fatiguing a muscle will not make it grow..may get more toned. Overload is the only way to to grow muscle.

21's are good for your last set and I almost always do them on bicep day. I have had really good results with my arms and think that 21's are great for cutting up.

You don't do 21's for muscle mass but to wake up and shock a muscle with a different technic so it'll respond better to the muscle mass growing exercise routines we'll do after!!
For great muscles, it's necessairy to change exercise and the way of doing them constantly.
