It costs money. I don't think very highly of that. But, if you can add 60lbs in just 3 weeks to your bench like it claims, it would definately be worth it. Problem is, you don't know anything about it until you pay up. Just remember: What may work for some, may not work for others. yea, thats true. plus, his 'comments' that he has on file he could have typed up himself and changed the font lol. but i have seen posts from people who have completed the 12 week special mass program and they have said they made improvements of 20-60 pounds on their bench. i guess i'll have to see for myself. im on day4 of week2. hopefully i will get some good results too, so far i havent seen any in my upper body :( |

Four simple variables to improving in any fitness aspect:F=Frequency- times per week you workout I=Intensity-resistance, speed, mentally focused etc. T=Type dumbells, barbells, cables, etc. T=Time time you spend in the gym, time you spend on one muscle group etc. These variable s need to be looked at and through trial and error you will find your medium. However, remember that it is important to change your routine to prevent muscle adaptation. As a general rule 4-6 weeks is widely accepted as time for a change, but guess what everyones different so you can throw that out the window. Everyone has a different genetic makeup therefore you need to experiment! |

My question is why everyone is hung up and benching more? I know that for my size I do not bench a great amount. But I know that for a lot of those that bench more than I, I am the overall stronger one. I guess being strong all around is more important than pressing 300. Besides the guys I have seen pressing that heavy almost always get hurt. |

It is that thing we are all pre-occupied with. I don't know that there IS an explanation, it has been this way with BB since I can remember. It always about the bench.John, I like that acronymn, it is catchy. I will have to remember it and of course give you props! -------------- Ischjli "Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go." -- T. S. Elliot |

S'funny, when I started lifting all my friends really asked was how much could I bench? To date the most I've ever benched is 195 lbs. I don't care. I acutally just started saying that it had no bearing on what I was trying to do because I wasn't a powerlifter. -------------- Practice does NOT make perfect. Perfect practice does. |

well, variety is good, but like the FT site says, follow exercises as they are given. to whom ever has completed the special 12 week mass program, when do the exercises change and become more intense, if they do?its not that im hung up on benching, but hey, who wouldnt like a nice big strong chest? |

If you wanted to try a FREE one then you could use the one from muscle media...http://www.musclemedia.com/training/bench/benchintro.asp I'm not sure if it works or not because I never got around to trying it.. i'm more worried about shaping up my back and legs then increasing what I bench... i'm small so I usually bench press less then everyone anyway... |

Take it from a guy who's had chest surgery but can still bench 350. Lower weight better form and more sets and exercises are the way to go. No one in the gym is impessed with someone doing parial sets and slopping heavy weight off their chest. Do you want to impress yourself with results or impress people that don't know shit about bodybuilding with how much you say you can bench. don't waste the cash. |
