AAAHHHHH the old vacation problem. It always makes me feel guilty to miss working out when you go on trips.
I had this same problem last summer when I had just started to workout. I took some dumbbells and made some kinda of routine to do. I dont know if it actually helped but I think it was the peace of mind that I was at least doing something.

Anyone else help?????

Maybe you could see if you could get a temporary membership at a gym wherever you are going or maybe you can find some other way to workout (w/o weights or w/those resistance bands you see in all of those workout at home articles) or you can just enjoy your vacation and start the program over when you get back.

You might want to consider just taking the week off and enjoying yourself. Muscles grow when your resting, not lifting. The rest will probably do you good. But I know, it is hard not to workout.

Why not do some body weight exercises (push ups, abs, dips etc) during this week and then continue normally when you come back home.
By doing this you'll give a small break to your body but you'll not loose any strength.

thnx for the advice. i didnt have a chance to do any pushups and etc, im back right now and i think im going for a second round of vacation in about a week, i'll continue where i left off and maybe i could take this week that i missed and add it on to the other end of the program ( replacing one of the 2 rest weeks with the week i missed since i got a week of rest alrdy), that a good idea? thnx

Yes why not. You'll still need at least one week of rest in the end thou (or where you do something completely different sort of exercise like circuit training or rollar blading.... etc)

Nice holidays?
