Meal-1 (Breakfast)
6 egg whites
40g Oats in Skim Milk or 2 Large Pieces of Fruit
1/2 cup of Nuts or Some Flax Oil
1 Cup of Coffee
4 Cups of Water

Meal-2
Protein shake w/carbs or
100g Tuna and 1 Apple or Low Gi Fruit
4 Cups of Water

Meal-3 (Lunch)
Large Salad W/ 150g of Cooked Brown or Basmati Rice
W/ Chicken or Fish
and Some Flax Oil
1 Cup of Coffee
4 Cups of Water

Meal-4 (pre workout)
Protein shake w/carbs or
100g Cottage Cheese and 1 Apple or Low Gi Fruit
4 Cups of Water

Meal-5 (Dinner)
Steamed Vegetables or Large Salad W/ Protein Shake or Small Serving of Any Lean Meats
2 Cups of Water

Meal-6 (maybe if hungry)
Protein Shake or 100g of Cottage Cheese
ZMA

I decrease my calories at night time, cardio days and on my rest day because these are the times where I am less active
and all cals in P,C and F would not be required so much.
I am not sure of the calorie content or the total PCF cals
but I think it goes P-200g Carbs-200g Fat-?
any comments or advice welcome =)

wow 4 cups of water with a meal...I wouldn't be able to fit it all in! I'd spread the water out through out the day myself but other than that it looks fine. I'm a female so the portions look huge....but I don't know enough about you to determine that!!!!!

Looks okay, except for meal #6. You should not eat/drink anything containing calcium if you take ZMA before going to bed. Also, does the 2 cups of coffee help?

Aside from that, it looks like you are getting a good balance of protein sources. If you get sick of flax oil, you could substitute with peanut butter.

whats the deal with ZMA and calcium?
I just had lunch then, it felt massive to eat but thats
cuz the leafy salad greens and mushrooms fill me right up but I dont want my meals to be too big or they will cause a massive insulin fat storage party in my body right?
mmmm...maybe I should change the portions...
I drink the coffee or green tea to bump up my metabloic rate but I usually have 1 cup a bit after my meals.
since Ive pushed myself to drink more water Ive noticed
a bit of change, I seem to be more defined.
would this diet be any good for someone who trains 6 days a week? I do 4 days of weights and 2-3 days of cardio

Looks like a pretty good diet to me. Don't know what ZMA is though.

Lisa, ZMA is a complex that contains both Zinc and Magnesium. Benefits received by utilizing ZMA in conjunction with an effective exercise program can include:

1) Increased muscle strength and endurance.
2) A decrease in muscle cramps and pulls.
3) Faster healing and recovery from injuries.
4) Improved concentration and alertness.
5) Decreased water retention.
6) Deeper relaxation during sleep.

However, ZMA competes with calcium when the body tries to process them. Therefore, it is recommended that ZMA be taken on an empty stomach prior to bedtime.

Good stuff Mike, it looks like you are down with the eating too. For a 101 year old you sure can eat alot.

Robert, is it the same as a vitamin or am I totally confused, cause I take a calcium-magnesium-zinc vitamin before bed. I was told that it is supposed to help you sleep better from my old personal trainer, so I started it and since I don't drink milk I thought it would be a good idea.

the diet still needs some tweaking in regards to the portion
sizes but I've pretty much been having the same breakfast and dinner for a while now so thats been pretty consistent
I'll try to keep the protein and carb portions about the size of my fist, the other thing is the eating in the afternoon has to be changed to foods that will aid in my recovery and growth, thats why I have only a small potion of meat for dinner then some anticatabolic cottage chees with the zma before bed.
