i have a question towards my football training, if you can as kind to help....well heres the question to start, if your are a running back do you want a low percent of bf and high muscle level, or vise versa? im a not a power runner, im a shifty little guy about 5'7 150

I say always go with muscle. Though your specific body fat % really isn't important as long as you can still perform at your highest level, having a lot of body fat won't really give you any benefit, especially if you're built like a scatback.

high muscle mass and low bf no question....you want to be as strong, powerful, while quick and agile....as well as having great endurance....if you had reverse....you'd be fairly weak and slow....as a small guy you need to focus on speed first(quickness/agility/endurance)....this is how you avoid being hit....second priority should be strength/lean mass/power...so when you do collide....you can send the defensive player crying to his mother...;)

....try to do plyometrics to boost speed/quickness/agility
...try doing compound exercises couple days a weak squat, deadlift, bench, power cleans...to increase strength/power

At 5'7", you'll want to be big, but very quick at the same time. Work on your strength, power, agility, and speed. It sounds like you're pretty quick, but you'll want to really be strong because of a somewhat height disadvantage. Do a program involving the ideas of powerlifting, SAQ training, and some olympic variations. Remember to attack that 3 hour window after your training by getting some essential vitamins, proteins, and carbs and glutamine would do some good-this would help yourself rebuild more efficiently. Menace pretty much hit it right on the head, I just wanted to elaborate a little bit.
