Is it harmful for a diabetic, who takes testosterone shots every two weeks, to take methyl 1 test?

I am not a doctor(though I play one on TV!!:laugh:), but seriously, I would never recommend it.
The sides can be hard on the healthy normal person, and may well affect a diabetic even more adversely. -------------- If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything.... bb1fit@freetrainers.com |

Do these side effects sound familiar: lethargy, headache, upset stomach, complete, complete exhaustion

Well, guys, I got on this message board because I am petrified that my guy will severely hurt himself. He insists that the gains so far, in two weeks, eight pounds, is well worth the side effects. He claims to only have the flu . . . any comments or suggestions?

is he taking the testosterone purely as a steroid or is he a cancer survivor whose ability to produce the hormone has been damaged by chemotherapy and radiation? give us some more background information.
side note: be patient -- this isn't a chat room and sometimes responses will not be instantaneous. we're here to help, but we can't be online all the time. -------------- i wish you ill, ice-t. margarine is a liar who announces, "i am butter!" |

Okay, thanks, I will exercise some patience here. His body stopped producing testosterone years ago so he gets testosterone shots every two weeks at Kaiser. It may be related to his diabetes. Anyway, he started taking M1T and is sick as a dog right now . . . he won't begin to listen that he is playing russian roulette with his body. Am I wrong to think that this supplement and diabetes don't mix??

ok -- the testosterone shots are necessary -- the methyl 1 test is not. listen to what longballer says -- he is an exec of the company that produces this product and knows what he's talking about.

M1T in normal healthy people can cause cold and flu like symptoms, sometimes extreme, and not to mention very hard on the liver. I would stop him immediately were I you.
For a couple lbs. maybe of muscle, purely cosmetic, not competeing or anything, is it worth jeapordizing your health? You really need to be sensible here. -------------- If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything.... bb1fit@freetrainers.com |

Thanks so much, guys. I am the sensible one and unfortunately, I have to try to get through to this man. He has been sleeping for four days now. Anyway, thanks for your help. I still would like to know exactly how this product affects a diabetic, in layman's terms.

Jaycee-
I dont care whose brand Methyl 1 Test whether its a competitor or our brand he is taking. Have him call me or you call me I will take whatever time from my day today to talk with him or you. I hate to be straight forth but we put warning labels on a bottle for a REASON heck it takes up one whole panel of the bottle. I think we got a call last night very similar to these condition and this person mentioned heart burn which leads me to believe its IDS nutrition's Methyl 1 Test he's taking because it has cayenne pepper in it why i have no idea. Regardless he needs to get off the product. This goes for anyone on the board if you have a question about our products or even competitiors brands do not hesitate to pick up the phone and call toll free 1-877-799-8778 you wont talk to an operator or some sales rep you will talk to one of the partner's of SNS just ask for me (Keith Hardy)if we happen to be away leave a message and one of us will get back to you as soon as we step foot back in the office. -------------- Keith Hardy CFO Serious Nutrition Solutions LLC keith@seriousnutritionsolutions.com www.seriousnutritionsolutions.com |

Oh I forgot to answer your question:
In laymans terms hopefully you have read and researched the side effects that possibly can affect a very healthy individual multiply that by 10 for an indvidual with diabetes or other medical conditions. Could long term liver damage occur? Its possible if he isnt taking liver support and PCT. The test injections along with the M1T was a bad idea to begin with. I know he is probably making great gains I dont doubt that but it just isnt worth it. -------------- Keith Hardy CFO Serious Nutrition Solutions LLC keith@seriousnutritionsolutions.com www.seriousnutritionsolutions.com |
