Just wanted to ask about your choice of a multivitamin, antioxidant and essential fatty acids (products) you have found to be good. Curious about including this into my daily routine. Thanks for any input.

I would have to go and look it up, but I was under the impression that antioxidants in pill form are not as effective as getting antioxidants from fruit and veg.
Personally I try to get everything I need from real food, and avoid supplements, so I couldn't really advise, although I know some poeple like to take supplements as an insurance policy.

I have to vote for the fruits and veggies as well. I tried taking a multi-vitamin but I just hate them. I know I need help in the calcium department but I cannot make myself take my calcium, I simply hate it although I don't know why. I really do hate it very much.

I take a multi vitamine every single day. I eat tons of veggies and fruit but it still doesn't cover all my needs (I have regular blood tests taken to see).
The brand I take is LifePlan, but I don't know if it exists in the US.

I like Beverly Intl's Power pack for women - it is formulated for female weight-lifters/bobybuilders,
I use Udo's choice/perfect blend oil for my oil supplement.
I have recently purchased a powdered anti-oxidant that mixes with water..called cardio recovery or something..I will go look if you wanrt the specifics.
I feel that our food supply is probably nutritionally deficient, so a good multi is necessary. Exercise stresses the system and causes more free radicals, necessitating the use of extra anti-oxidants... but to each their own opinion on that. i do know I feel a lot better when i am consistent with my supplements.
Of course, no supplement regime will replace a good diet with a wide variety of foods.

I re-read my post, and I think it might sound a bit patronising, so apologies if you took it that way - I'm sure your diet is much better than mine!
My comments were more aimed at those whose diets are poor, and think they can fully compensate by taking a vitamin pill.
I couldn't find the study which stated antioxidants in pill form weren't as effective, so maybe I was mistaken :)

try www.vitamins.com 70% discounted...buy generics just as good as name brand...just look for the type of supplement and dosage you need...no matter how complete and nutritious you think your diet is...it is still not full-proof....because certain foods are seasonal....you can develop deficiencies...
look for multivitamins with at least 100% of DV...it may also be beneficial to take vitamin C, E separately....
