is it just me or has everyone gone through this;
my triceps dont seem to be wanting to get that horse shoe look that makes them look bigger than the biceps. do u think by the end of the 12 week mass program, the horse shoe look will be achieved? or is this just a problem i have?

I love that horse shoe form as well......

Work your triceps hard (and loose your fat) and it'll come. If not, well then it's genetic.....

i do work them hard with my ft program, could working them more than once a week be an option? with of course, sufficient amount of resting time in between.

Hmmm you got different opinions about how many times working one muscle weekly. The big professionels work their muscles normally at least twice a week, but don't forget that they don't do anything else....... They train, they eat, they rest and got all the needed supplements for the very best recovery.
What I normally advice is that if you are no longer a beginner and looking for serious muscles mass then train only each muscle once a week. Now if you are a beginner or just want a toned or a cut muscle (and no signifiant mass), then you can do two weekly body work outs (even three if you work in circuit).
Listen to your body rasoul and set your goals.
Luck to you!!

If you want your biceps to outsize your triceps, work biceps one additional time each week.

How many exercises do you do for your tri's and how often? You may be overtraining them in an effort to make them grow, which will have quite the opposite effect. Usually for the drug free bodybuilder once a week per muscle group is pretty optimal. And when you do them, do no more than 9-10 sets for them, and choose heavy, compound exercises such as close grip benches, heavy dips, and heavy cable pushdowns. 3 each, then stop. You have done enough. Any more will probably result in overtraining. Good luck

that sounds good, i currently started adding some exercises on my own to the FT program i use. for example: on one day for tri's it may say lying tricep extension and dips behind the back, and i would add a tricep cable pushdown. and different combinations varying on the exercises given by FT.
and i think my adding the extra exercise ( 4 sets to it) is starting to work. My tri's seem to be starting to get the horse shoe thing..hopefully they keep going lol. thnx for all the advice
