Would it be ok if i was just to eat salad for dinner...im really trying to lose alot of weight 40lbs ...people are telling me to drink protein shakes doesnt that make u gain...but my main question is can i lose weight if just for dinner i would eat salad and lunch i hat tuna??

I would not advise it. You would be better off eating a balanced meal with fibrous carbs. Protein promotes muscle growth and every extra pound of muscle burns 50 calories a day. You want to gain muscle dude. Dont worry about weight, just worry about what you see in the mirror.

You would also have a hard time reaching your caloric needs.

I would throw some grilled chicken on the top but that is just me. You will need some source of protein in my opinion

Like I said I would advise against it. You are not going to lose weight just because you eat salad. You are going to starve yourself.

Yea hec....i so throw on some chicken grilled only and ill be ok...also i bought a stationary bike from sears nice one....how long should i do cardio a day..again im trying to lose 40lbs....i want to do it morning 1 hour and night one hour....I also heard only drink water..nothing else all day?

Why dont you weight train? Doing cardio for two hours a day is not going to do much for you in regards to weight loss. You are only going to burn calories while you do cardio and then that is it. Your body continues to burn calories for as much as 48-72 hours after a weight training session, also like I said, the more muscle you have the more your body must burn calories to keep it. You may want to look into going about your weight loss in a different way.

Great so weight train too...nice...are there any suppelments u reccommend....i bought a protein source in(myloplex) and i have creatine, and a multivitiam...IM sorry for asking so many questions.. but 1 more when do i take all these suppelments.....i work 7-5 im a car mechanic its hard to stop and eat meals im always on the run...reccommend anything? thank you:big_smile:
