Hi all,
relatively new to the site theres a lot of good stuff here. I am an instructor and doing a back strengthening program with a client and just wondering how trainers have found the RDL for strengthening the lower back I was thinking of adding it in I cant comment on how effective it is as I dont do it on a weekly basis. I already do conventional deadlift with light weight and strict form and the back is getting stronger as a unit.
Advice appreciated

I have used it for a couple years now, and I have strengthened my lower back very much...it's very useful....I use variations...my favorite for a couple years has been Stiff legged romanian deadlifts...I have used the exercise to progress to big weights and consequently big back...however my primary goals were to get a huge deadlift....your primary goal is muscle mass? strength?
I like it because it keeps constant pressure on lower back, forearms, hamstrings, core....I have strengthened my core considerably doing just a romanian deadlift...rarely doing any ab work...
