Hey there! Okay, I know 3 weeks isn't along time, but I would like to really tone down. I am 5'6" at about 135 and actually want to lose about 10 pounds, is it possible? I usually have eating disorder like habits, don't eat for a long time then binge. That is why I am here. I am changing my eating habits to healthy ones, but still want to know what I can do to lose this weight in 3 weeks!!! Does anyone have a sample diet plan? How much cardio should I be doing? Should I be weightlifting? I have done very well the past week, eating clean and all, but I dont see much difference, in fact I feel a lot larger. You guys have really helped me motivate myself to change my eating habits into a normal way so I wanted to thank you all. If anyone can help get this weight down I would be EXTREMELY grateful!! Thank you everyone!!!
- another thing is, I would really enjoy entering a small fitness competition as motivation to keep my eating habits good, I live in the south Florida area, any ideas? If you do, please post those as well!!!

I don't know why you have set a goal of 3 weeks, unless your taking a trip? however, losing 10lbs in 3 weeks is do-able, but it is quite a goal, you are likely setting yourself up for failure. Getting in better shape should not be about time limits, esp ones like 3 weeks. Its an everyday thing, and a life style change. Set goals that are attainable, and when you reach them, it will give you confidence. If you are just starting out in your workout/healthy eating habits, then you can expect to lose about 5lbs from water weight, and then about 1-2lbs a week of Fat from then on. But you will need to eat healthy, and workout with weights, and cardio.

5'6 135 weither male or female seems quite light to me. healthfully i think the most you can loose is about 4 5 lbs of just fat in this time frame.

Thank you very much. I am a female and will fill out my profile ASAP! I am pretty lean except for my thighs and love handles! I figured an extra low calorie diet would help get rid of this. I am taking a trip and that is exactly why I was asking. I have changed my lifestyle, and I didn't want my full results within 3 weeks. I just wanted to know how to get extra thin in 3 weeks..if possible. Sorry for the confusion....Should I bring the calories down to like 800? Thanks guys.

Be careful dropping calories too low. It will backfire on you. Will actually "teach" your body to store fat in anticipation of starvation, and will increase your fat to lean muscle ratio. This will be short term solution for a long term setback. If and when you start to eat again at all, and you will, you will gain fat very fast. Ever see how folks lose weight and then gain it back and more? This is the reason why....the so called yo-yo dieters.
