Hey Carivan....and all you other fellow north of the border folks, great news from trueprotein.com. Here is an excerpt from the email I got from them...We have some exciting News for all of our friends up north in Canada… The rumors are true, we are very close to opening a True Protein Canada within the first part of 2005. We will have more news in the next few weeks with details to our exact launch date, but expect the same quality products at the absolute lowest price shortly. Hint, Hint… we have not forgot about Europe or Australia either…

That would be a real benefit. There are no suppliers here yet with the same concept. Thats why I don't buy protein over the net. Economicly it is not beneficial. But if we can design it, it's all the difference.
Please let me know when it is launched.

You are not barging in at all. Any help for folks is always welcome. I am sure there are a few UK'ers out there that did not know this.

Has anyone bought any pre-mixed protein/carb blends from trueprotein? Looking at it the dextrose and malto may be more expensive than buying them seperate, but it would be more convenient for sure. Has anyone added glutamine or BCAAs to their mix? Is it cost-effective? Lastly, what would be a good mix for non-pwo shakes - there are so many egg and casein-type selections i got a little confused.

I buy my own dextose/malto etc. The reason for this is the flexibility it gives you to tailor the shake to your particular needs. I do get aminogen in mine.

thats a very interesting concept. I would still be a bit hesitant to buy bulk powders online but the idea has potential. I am not sure I could get away from shopping at www.buffmusclestuff.com but next time I buy I think I will definately check out that true protein site.

Hey all,

Just got word that Vantedge Nutrition has finally opened here in Canada. They appear to offer bulk commercial protein at less than comemrcial/brand name pricing.

For example, Whey Concentrate goes for $4.99/lb and that's regardless or whether you order 2lbs or 20lbs unlike some other companies where you only get the "low pricing" if buying 40 and 50lbs at a time.

Isolate is a wicked price too it looks like.

And both come flavoured!

Definitely a clean and professional looking site with some good reviews on the product thus far.

Check it out: http://www.vantedgenutrition.com

Peace out!
