Is the ab program the only one you are on, I believe you choose how many days to work out when setting up your program I am doing the 12 week program and the 8 week at home program I do each one 3 time a week, total of 6 days.

Work abs no more than twice a week. Abs are a muscle the same as any other, they need rest. If you are trying to bulk, you are not going to see abs unfortunately. Abs are probably 80% diet. Yes, you could quite possibly and probably will see yourself look fatter working abs. If you build muscle and don't change your diet, the muscle underneath will just push the fat out even farther, thus making you look fatter. You will most likely not be able to bulk and have abs showing at the same time...sorry. As far as exercises, do you have access to a cable machine? Probably the king of ab work is weighted crunches, and weighted leg raises. Sure there are plenty more, but you really only need choose 2 such as these and developement will come. Good luck...

It is possible, but unfortunately it is the nature of the beast with an all out mass program to acquire some fat. Do your cardio and quality diet, mass gain will come slow, and that is really good, but you really can't help but gain some fat. It will be manageable though, and you will look all the better when you again diet down.
