your body has different source for energy...
mainly 3....ATP, glucose, fat
you exhaust ATP in under 10 seconds
you exhause muscle glucose in 1-2 minutes
after that fat storages kick in....
you're fastest with ATP, then glucose, then fat...so once you get to fat as your main source, your performance will drop off until your other systems recover...etc....

during the past 2 months i've put myself on a little test. I've tried using more fats and less carbs. I actually notived i've been getting really tired pretty quick, so i got myself a jar of L-Glutamine, which kept me up very well. i've lost alot of fat during that period as well. the goal of this was actually to get to my abs. i've started at 149lbs and went up to 162lbs. now im 154lbs :D
anyhow, now im back to carbs again, planning to get up to 180 and then hold it up there :)
3 little questions:
whats APT?
where do carbs stand in this chain >> APT, glucose, fats?
so i guess that when i get to carbs as my fuel, i use APT, glucose and fats, therefore wouldnt my performace drop in anyway by the time i reach the carbs?
thnx for taking the time!
