If you've just working out and you have high asperations about getting huge fast forget it, but workout at it. There is a way of putting on real gains in less time, step set, this where you mite be workoing biceps for example, and you are doing barbell curls, now instead of doing 3 sets for 8-10 reps try this 2 sets for 40 reps. "what your crazy" hear me out, take 40kgs and do 10 reps then the same with 30kgs and 20 and finaly 10. do this for a month and you with notice the great gain you will make.
step set can be applyed to any exercice, but should only be use once in every workout.
all the best.

isn't 40kgs then 30 then 20 then 10 , 4 sets?

And that is just a descending set used since the 50's and how is sets of ten going to help out? Most biceps need more wieght. It is a good shocking method but I would not use it for a month straight and as my only main mass builder...to gain mass you need to consistenly overload the arm....ie use progressively heavier weights.
