I like 100% whey protein 40 bucks......for 5 lbs usually lasts me abotu 3 4 months.
"NOW" creatine....15bucks for about a pound.....its unflavored.....and kinda gritty but I mix it with crystal light....not to bad. Lasts me.......about 6 7 maybe 8 months.......dependsing if I member to take it on my off days.

Mutt....go to a place like www.trueprotein.com and you can buy in bulk. Cheapest way to go, with great flavorings to boot.
If you don't care to shop the internet, then as far as stores simply go for the cheapest whey isolate you can find. It is hard to find a "bad" one.

Mutt -
I always suggest a solid multi. As for other supplement ideas, particularly for bulk protein intake, the following is a list of ideas that old school lifters used prior to supplements. Solid foods, cheaper than supps, versatile; I used these when I was a starving student, and made great gains. Most of these you can buy in bulk (and cheap) in resturant supply places like Smart & Final, or Sam's Club:
Non-fat dry milk
Liquid or dry egg-whites
Malted milk
Non-fat cottage cheese (freezes well)
Dry oatmeal (works well in a blender)
-------------- Michael
100% AMMONIA SNORTIN, ANGER MANAGEMENT CLASS FAILING, BIG IRON LOVIN, FACE SLAPPIN, HEAVY METAL LISTENIN, CHALK CLOUD MAKIN, GUM BLEEDIN, SCABBY-SHINNED, LEATHER PALMED, BLOOD-SHOT EYED, KNEE WRAP WEARIN, RIP IT UP OFF THE FLOOR, DO OR DIE TRYIN, FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION, BAR BENDIN POWERLIFTER. You got a problem with that?

Thanks, Ron. Was off line for about a week and a half: had some home improvements going on (no 'net access), and at the same time, renovations at my office (again, no 'net access). Ya, I know - bad timing on my part. But I'm back now for awhile! :)
