I know that no one has asked a question about the meal before bedtime so here it is. Everything I have read on other posts state that cottage cheese is a good pre bedtime meal. Some questions - how is whey mixed with milk before bed instead? If I just have the feeling that I could eat something - not quite hungry - is it ok to not eat anything right befre bedtime? (I usaually have a meal 2-3 hrs before bedtime anyway). If a question simular to this has been asked, Im sorry. I looked on fitbuddy but could not find an exact answer. Thanks

first, before bed meal is no more than 1 hour away from bedtime. this is why it is before bed.

second, the milk + protein will be a good idea if you dont care about the carbs. if trying to cut, this will not help you at all. althou if you are not cutting, no need to worry about.

third, istead of whey protein (fast absorption protein), get some caseine (slow realeaisng protein). thatsh why cottage cheese is very suggested: all caseine if i am not mistaken.

plus, dont forget to add some fat to slow even more your protein absorption.
