rev grip bench

I'm ont he west side.......and i'm switching too a new max lift.......rev grip bench.......with a 2 sec pause on my chest 3x3 3x2 3x1..........also I find the reverse grip bench easier than regualar bench is this normal?

The world record was set by alternating grips. I would say depends on the person but I am not surprised by it.

It is definitely easier on the shoulders.

It is probably easier because it forces you into a straight line when you bench and places more stress on the triceps.

so this is ok to do for a max lift?

I do floor press, after my dynamic bench? and I don't have anything to put on my chest for a tile or board press.

I'm gonna use it this weekend after my speed bench. You can do it anyway that is going to make you better.

I think maybe ill use reverse grip bench on my next max effort bench day. Why the 2 second pause on your chest? just to take the stretch reflex out?

i've heard anywhere from 1 to 3 secs...depends on how anal judge is that day i guess.
