hey all. my name is cole. i live in texas. im 18 years old and just outa hs. im new to this site as many others. i just joined today. i played all sports and wus a sr. when my football team won their 1st ever state championship. i wuld post pics but dont currently know how:(. i lost around 60 lbs a year but gained it all back in the off seasons. im moderately active and get bored with things very easily. i just lost my gf of 15 months and my world fell apart. i gained around 20 lbs so now im at 270. and only 6' tall. ive decide to change my life and get back out there and start over so i googled exercise programs and this was the 1st one i saw so i clicked it. ive tried other diets and weight lifting programs to lose weight and tone my body up but never stuck 'em out. i need something that will keep my body guessing and keep me enthused about the workouts. i offer my thanks for any suggestions and opinions.-------------- coup de grace boom boom bam! free hand |

Molly your weight will fluctuate based on when you goto the bathroom, eat, drink water, sweat, all of these things can dramatically affect it. I lose about 3-4 lbs of water weight every time i workout. for the most accurate results you should weigh yourself right after you wake up in the morning before doing anything
============ Quoting from JesusKid: ello im molly! im 15 5'2" and 137 pounds..well okay that kinda depends on the day and what time of day! lol. last week for some reason i was down to 130. ne one know why ur weight fluxuates like that? but im new and stuff so i posted this thingy! ne one else doing that ab blaster thingy? starting on monday and wondered if ne one had helpful advice? well i'd love to talk to ne one who is also going through this journey! much love (from me and jesus!) ============= |

Hello all!! My name is Maria and I am 20 years old. I have struggled with my weight for a long time and I have gotten sick of it time and time again. This last time was the kicker though. My highest weight was 189 lbs and I am only 5'6". Since I found out that weight in November of '07 I have lost a total of 34 lbs. I found this website and I think that it will really help as far as helping me tone up. I do feel that I need to lose more weight but I think that toning up will be a big self esteem booster... I am supposed to get married but I refuse to set the date until I feel good and look good physically (who wants the bridemaids to look better than the bride) I hope that this site does the trick for me... ne one who would like to be a "motivational buddy" would be greatly appreciated... we can help each other!!!-------------- **Speak your mind sunshine... then bask in the light** |

Hi! I just joined and am 35 5'11 and 210 pounds. I would like to lose about 40 pounds. I was wondering about the nutrition side of this because I dont make alot of money or have alot of time and which limits whats around the house to eat. Most of the "cheaper" foods is the reason I need to lose weight in the first place so I was wondering if anyone had some good food recipes for a guy on a budget that really cant afford all that diet food.

Maria, I know I am a few months late. But keep up the good work and remember that your health is important and you have control. It feels good to know that you are making progress and that you are dedicated. I don't have any issues with my weight, but I am recovering from a knee injury that had me out for a short while, but I am back..in full force (plus the military won't have it any other way). However, my best friend retired from the military 3 years ago and gained 15-20 pounds and I got on this site to help her out and to be a good friend I am working out with her as well. Maria, stay determined and motivated!! :)

Hey, whats up everyone my name is danny im 21 years old im from Cali. I heard about this site through a friend of mine and he told me he he gets a lot of encouragement and support from the forums, and i think that is just what i need. In short my Fitness plan is just to get to a healthy weight. im currently 6'11" 250 pounds. up until my first year of college i was always very active and at about 180 pounds. My short term weight goal is 210 pound, and my long term is somewhere around 180-190. Since im not as physically active when I was in highschool(i played a couple of sports)i know its is not going to be an easy task but i started a small jogging regimen, got a gym membership, and have started on a fixednutriotion plan, all i need now is some inspiration and the will to do it. i guess thats about it. and i look forward to checking in with you guys with my progress or with any help i might need.

Hi, I'm new here and just set up my program. I am a personal trainer here in NC and I'm looking for something challenging, out of the ordinary, run of the mill program. My oldest son graduates HS in June and I want to be buff!! I picked the 12 wk ab workout selection and when I went to my program there wasn't any abs moves, can anyone tell me what I did or didn't do?:)

Hello, today is my first day and i'm so confused. I get the work out system but the nutrional plan i find very challenging to comprehend? It's a whole lot of math that I dont get: grams, percentages- caloric intake verses wieght and body fat...like wow, overload. Is there not a meal plan?-------------- gOod LuCK! Hi everyone! My name's Heather and I'm new to the site. Seems like there are a lot of members so I hope I don't get overwhelmed. I recently started looking at pictures from when I was 17-18 (I'm 24 now) and I was the perfect size for myself then. I have the apple figure problem. All my weight goes to my stomach. I want to get back to having that flat stomach I used to, and feel better about myself!

Hi guys!
I'm Ilanit and I'm 15 years old. This past year I've been home sick due to monocleosis. As a result of that I gained 16 kg and I was completely out of shape. 2 Months ago I started getting back in shape and I've already lost several centimeters. i just need that final push so maybe I'll find it here :) |

Yo. I'm fifteen years of age, also, and just looking for a way to lose some weight. I've done some research, but I cannot find the perfect answer, and I hope someone here has it. Okay, so, I keep hearing a lot of crap about calories, and how many I should eat, and blah blah blah. I love math and all, BUT, isn't there just some way to eat healthier and know how much to eat and lose weight, and not worry about having a calculator everywhere I go? Thanks to anyone who can help me, and if I find the answer somewhere, sorry I posted this. ^_^'

Hey everyone, I'm 20 years old and always been bigger for my size. I'm 5'1" and 175 lbs and have tried numerous times to lose weight but have never had the will power to follow through with my "diet plans". I'm hoping that this website will do the trick for me!!!

Hi guys. I'm happy I have found this site. I live in a location where I can't travel at will and am home bound most of the time with a toddler. I've been trying to get motivated but have no one to really share my weight issues and fitness goals with. I am about 5'1" @ 238lbs, I know that's horrible. I wasn't always this way and have the want & need to be 135-145 and fit. But no motivation. I get depressed often and give in to emotional eating. So if anyone can relate I'm here for you. I wouldn't let anyone else hurt this way, I don't know why I can't let myself feel good about myself. But I know achieving or re-achieving this goal would probably cure that.-------------- The Diva |

Hi everyone! I'm Lauren and I'm 27, married, have no kids, and I'm over weight. I had LapBand surgery about a year and a half ago and have lost approx. 80 pounds to date. My long term goal is to lose another 100 over the next year to year and a half! Hopefully I'll find plenty of support and motivation on this site!

I'm new to the site, but feeling very hopeful. The workout plans are so helpful. It takes all of the guess work out of trying to decide what to work on for that day.

Hello all! I'm in the Army currently in Iraq. I decided to join the site to get new workout routines and just see what other people are doing. Because of my job, my workout schedule is 2 days on, 1 day rest. The days I workout I typically run (3-6) miles/sprints/circuit training (squats, rowing machine, jump rope) in the morning and in the afternoon do strength training (lots of pushups, abs, pullups, etc...). Hoping to learn lots and maybe even help a few people out as well. -------------- Initial Success or Total Failure |
