" I had surgery 2 weeks ago and since then it is VERY hard for me to eat. I still try to eat 5 meals a day, every 3 hours but I probably only take in 600-800 calories a day. Is this hurting my metabolism really bad, and how is it going to affect me when I get back up to 1200 a day, Btw I am active (3X a week weight training, 3X a week cardio)
Oh and how do you fill out your profile? thanks in advance.

To try to get your calories up, if you are struggling to keep food down, I would suggest trying to eat little and often.
Nuts are very energy dense - you could carry them around with you and have a handful every so often.

You gave us 2-3 min to answer? :surprised:
Now since you already know what to do, I'll just suggest drinking some MRP shakes as well to get more energy for your body.

I'm sorry, maybe that didn't come across clearly. I didn't think that people were being unhelpful, I felt that my argument with the terminator was unhelpful to Shana.

I answered on the otheer board - i think a nutritional shake like ensure would be useful in getting her calories up.
