Im sure this is pretty stupid, however, being new to working out more than just a little. I have a question about reps and exercises. When it says 4 sets of 15 pushups, for example, is it best to do 15, rest, do the next 15, rest, etc...then start on another exercise? or is it best to mix my exercises up, say a set of pushups, then a set of crunches, then another exercise, then back and do another sext of pushups? Just a little confused on what is best, as I have heard different things regarding this.
Also, does anyone happen to have or know if any of the home gyms WalMart sells are any good? Specifically the Tech Rod Gym, the X-Flex Gym, or the Stamina Band Flex Gym. Im looking for something cheap, but that will allow me to have a good total body workout (dont have time to join a gym). I can do the pushups and situps, etc...but get bored rather easily and I think a home gym will help some with that, add variety to my workout. Thanks in advance!

It depends on your goals. If you are just starting, it probbably doesn't matter. The norm is do all of one exercise first, then proceed to the next. But, if endurance/with some strength and fat is your main objective, then a circuit style training is very useful where you do one exercise, move on to the next, etc. with very little rest till completing one circuit. (this is also very good for fat loss) Rest, and repeat.
