I do abs like in between sets, Say i just get done doing some bench presses, ill go over to an ab machine and do like 30 reps, then ill go back then later on ill go back and do some more abs, i probably do like 4 or 5 sets of abs during my wrkouts everyday, is this ok for an ab workout? or should i do abs all right in a row instead of like one set now next set 10 minutes later next set 5 minutes later.

My preference would be to do abs as one bodypart. Treat them like any other muscle, which in fact they are. They need work and rest. When finished with abs,be finished with them. YOu wouldn't go back after finishing heavy benches, then move on to say back or triceps, and in between those sets go back and do more benches, would you? Just something to think about. Abs recover very quickly, so that is another good reason to work them all at once.

Well I'd say that you should listen to your body....

I cannot just "wait" in between my sets as well.... So I stretch or do like you, abs training!

I guess this works for me because I don't lift very heavy. If that's your case then you rather let your body (and nervous system) rest in between your sets.

Everyone is different, the key for you is if what you are doing is achieveing what you want, then don't change. Do what works for you.
