i was just wondering if you should vary your calories depending on lifting weight and doing cardio. Because on a cardio day i don't drink my PWO shake so i've been making those calories up by eating some home made protein bars and what not. Should i keep my calories the same every day or drop them on cardio days?

i will say same amount, althou if you cutting, probably just om cardio day, you could drop a bit you caoric intake, but preferely from carbs, not protein

Protein synthesis and caloric requirements are elevated from after trainng for about 36 hours. If you are training 4-5 days per week, chances are you will be training another muscle group in this time, so it would make sense to keep calories up.

yeah.. right now i'm training 7 days a week. with 4 days weight training and 3 days of cardio. so keeping my calories the same as on a weight traing day as a cardio day would be the way to go for me.
