Hey everyone,
I'm doing Static Contraction Training (SCT) right now and I was wondering how much weight I should increase every workout? I'm going to be training 2 times a week for 2 weeks then 1 session per week for 3 to 8 weeks. I began today and my starting set for my bench is 134 lbs for my first set, 154 for second set then 184 for my third. I'm 140 lbs and 5'6 in height. I read that at the beginning, I should add 15% of the weight from my first set, so on my next session, theoretically , I should be bench pressing 154 lbs for my first set. Anyone want to help/clarify this? Any help would be great.
I also want to ask if I should continue my protein/creatine intake even though I'm only going to carry weights once or twice a week? On my non-workout sessions, I do 45 minutes of cardio.

once you get through loading phase of creatine, you can take 5 grams every other day or take about 2g on non workout days and 3-5g when you workout....
instead of using % for weights, you can simplify it and think in terms of reps you have to do...so a similar progression can be done in terms of reps where you pyramid downward from 8 to 6 to 4 reps for example....(you should be able to do no more than these number of reps for each given set)

Hey whats your routine for SCT by SCT im assuming that is where you hold a heavy weight at some position for as long as possible??? or a set time?? i was looking into this wanting to try it... i made something up but it aint really much... whats your current routine for this??
