What kind of results can I expect from taking creatine and protein? What type of creatine do you recommend?

you can expect gains of up to 10% on your maxes with creatine....however there are 'non-responders'...so it all depends....in combination with protein supplements and good training/nutritio you can expect to gain 1-2lb of lean muscle a month...

i'd take creatine off season, and once or 2 timesa w eek in season in the morning. Creatine is a water loving supplement. It would dehydrate you during practice probably. So take it off season mainly and once day in morning or so during practices and games. But dont' expect miracles.
