I REALLy am having problems finding things to eat for lunch and dinner with low fat and sugar. I'm a picky eater so it makes it tough..plus I really dont know what to look for at the grocery store...
Can someone please give me any advice?? lol I've been on this diet for 2 wks now, have been sticking to it, and have been exercising twice as much as in my fitness plan, but it seems like my stomach and legs are actually getting BIGGER, not tighter!! this scares me! lol
I haven't been eating hardly any fruits or veggies because there is no room for the sugar in the fruits after everything else I eat because I'm right on the edge of going over and I don't know any recipes that incorporate veggies that is low fat and I dont like veggies raw. I've been on a diet of cereal, a vitamin, a protein shake, for lunch maybe a salad composed mainly of raisins for taste since I can't have hardly any dressing.. And for dinner usually I can't find anything so I'll just eat some perogies or something.. please help!
I'm not a great cook and don't have alot of time so any good links to recipes you could give me that are easy and fast would be great...
Also my exercise plan... On weekends, and tuesdays and thursdays I usually exercise around noon after lunch, and mondays, wednesdays, and fridays I do right after breakfast about 9:00. Usually I workout for about 45 mins-1 hr. Alot of that time is stretching though. I do a whole bunch of crunches (about 100 normal, and 50 to each side). Then I do 50 pushups, 50 front leg lifts (for the stomach), and 50 side leg lefts (each leg) and then calf raises, and a bunch of workouts with dumbells.
also if anyone could give me a link for stomach exercises anything that could help me get a tighter tummy please give any and all advice! lol
All And ANY advice will be GREATLY appreciated!
Thankyou so much for reading I know it was long srry :)

Look at the post above yours it is called grocery list for bodybuilders. Read it and believe in it. Have a protein and a complex carb with every meal. Try one of the routines here that FT offers and you will see results. Right now you are not eating nearly enough and you can ditch the perogies.

Can you eat rice? Experiment with different types of grains. Many come in prepackaged seasonings and even have microwave directions on them, if you are pressed for time. Basmati rice, wild rice, jasmine rice, mexican...there many options available.
May I suggest buying the frozen veggie blends in the frezer section? Experiment with all different types of veggies. Cook them in a stir fry pan with any of your favorite sauces. Grocery stores now carry a variety of cultural foods. I use curry sauces, any of the Lawry's marinades work well, in the asian section I use the low sodium items and the garlic teriyaki sauce. Mexican suces work well - the enchilada sauce, the mole sauce. Heck, just use your imagination, that's how all great things begin. :-)
Rice and soba noodles are another quick fix. Some varieties have noodles in different types of grains as well.
How do you feel about seaweed? Many grocery stores are now carrying sushi and you can ask them to make some with veggies only. This is a great alternative to a light snack or lunch, but be sure to use a low sodium soy sauce.

Aving ~ I saw that you posted this same thing earlier this week and there was some great advice given there. When you adopt this lifestyle, you really don't need to be a great cook or know a lot of recipes. You need to know how to plan ahead. For example, on the weekend cook a turkey breast or a boatload of chicken breasts , microwave or steam a variety of vegetables and make a big pot of brown rice. That way all you have to do is heat up things when you're ready to eat. You can hardboil eggs by the dozen. Try to find something other than raisins for your salad as they're loaded with sugar. How about some walnuts for good fat? They taste great on a spinach salad. There are TONS of great recipes listed on this site that take literally minutes to prepare.
