Been at it now for about 7 months, stopped smoking, lost about 20kg all in all, body taking shape nicely and my diet is now second nature, then my bad luck strikes again,it looks like an abdominal tear(rectus abdominus),from what ive read need to rest 4 to 6 weeks.Anyone with any advice ie do i need to reduce my carbs while resting and do i need to totally rest or can i start light weights say after a couple of weeks, any "safe" exercises to do.cheers

Foolow your doctor's orders as far as safe exercise and how long to rest it.

You could reduce your calories by 200 or so and see if you maintain your weight.
