I am 14 and have been playing football for 7 years but now I've decided to bump up to Highschool so I just started lifting with the team. My left arm hurts when I try to straigten my elbow fully. It hurts where the bicep and forearm meet and about 2 inches up and down from that area. Any advice?
Sounds like you went to heavy and damaged a tendon.
You can ice it, but you have to deal with time for this and suggest you lift alot lighter. (give the left arm a rest).
See a doctor if it gets worse.
