Can you please let me know the recipe for that chocolate-cottage cheese - peanut butter and flax oil shake? Sounds pretty potent.

1 cup cottage cheese(lowfat or no fat), chocolate protein powder(1 scoop),2 tbsp. natural peanut butter, 1 tbsp. flax oil. Very nutrient dense, great if on a gaining cycle.

I might even try that, though I must say I'm afraid of the cottage cheese...

The cottage cheese is an excellent choice. Great protein content, glutamine, and an easy substitute for a 5oz. chicken breast!

cottage cheese is really great, that is another of my protein snacks, if you need more carbs just add some fruit to it as well, peaches, pineapples. really good.
okay bb1fit, i will go out on the limb and try that too, my boyfriend uses the chocolate protein so i'll have to get some from him.
thanks!

Yes,if you use natural peanut butter, along with the flax oil you have all the "healthy" fats already.

I've used that same shake for awhile as a weight gainer. I usually use an MRP (since it's a protein blend) instead of whey though. You can't even tell there's cottage cheese in there, so don't worry about that. I ususally use vanilla protein, though and throw a banana in as well. You can easily top 1000 calories with just one mixture!

Yeah, you can jack the calorie count up pretty quickly with a few additions!
