I always found that doing dips really gave me a good pump for my triceps. |

Cable push downs work for me. Take a look under the FT exercises. -------------- - Nina :o) Les Victoires éternelles sont celles du coeur. |

I just found dips behind the back with a weight on your lap, theu seem to really shock my triceps and give a great pump. |

I think the pushdowns are good for that tricep muscle that pokes out of the side of your arm. However, I like close grip bench presses as an overall tricep mass builder. When performed correctly they give your triceps an excellent pump.-------------- "Some people call it insanity, I call it intensity" |

Nothing like the combo of either bench dips or parallel bar dips and cable pushdowns. Add 3 sets of incline french curls, and you have a great mass builder. Heavy weights of course. An added bonus is this will also aid your bench so much to. |

I like a combo pf cable press downs followed by a set of rope pulldowns. But I always do either behind the neck dumbell presses or skullcrushers. Plus kickbacks with tight controlled form.-------------- Those who lift understand it. Those who do not, think we are crazy! |

The best tri excercise for mass is skullcrushers. This is probably one of my favorite exercises to do. I follow that up with close-grip presses and that really burns 'em out. For definition, cable pressdowns are the way to go. I also like kickbacks, but with pressdowns you can vary your hand position and hit totaly different parts of the tricep. -------------- --JBennett "I've up-ed my intensity.... now up yours!" Hadn't seen this posted yet....here's another option. If you do not have access to weights or just get into the mood at home and don't feel like going to the gym or wherever the equipment is, try "Diamond" push-ups they work great. Form a triangle with your thumb and forefingers on the ground, and do push-ups like that. In addition to shocking the Tricep, building it, and making it looking good...it will translate into practical usable strength. -------------- "When going through hell......DON'T STOP" |

I gained an inch on my arms in two weeks, before a couple of months ago, I had never done french presses, so my longest head of my triceps had never been worked. Try this OMG it kills: use a weight that you can barely do 12reps with(Skull crushers/ French presses)then do 12, then do 5 behind your head (they are easier), then do 20 close grip (hands touching each other). THATS ONE SET! then go down to 10fp 5behind head 18presses, then 8fp 5behind head 16presses. I do Dips to work the middle head, and push downs to work the smallest head. |

I've always liked overhead extensions, personally. You get a good long range of motion and a good stretch at the bottom of the motion. |

Because IB keeps trying to answer old posts that have already been answered.
