Ok I am tring to tone up my abs a bit... I have been watchin what i eat and been looking into the best exercise routine for me... well 1 of my questions is I have been told that the best time to exercise is in the evening after dinner, well I was wondering is that true? and is there another good time to exercise or does it really matter as long as you do it? Cause in the evenings is the time i spend with my children and by the time they got to bed i dont really feel like doing much other than sitting on the couch and relaxing. I know its kind of a silly question, but I want to go about this the right way cause I not only want to get my abs toned, but i want to get in shape as well.... Any suggestions you can give would really help me out alot... Thanx I really appericate it... :)

Welcome to FT! As far as when exercise is best, please do a search at the bottom of the page at fitBuddy and you should find OOODDLLESSS of posts on this subject.

The way I see it, personally, is that with my schedule of which MOST is not negotiable at this point, I have to work out when I can each day and doing so is better than not working out at all! If it means just a few calories difference, I am not going to get all uptight about it as I am much better off working out when I can than saying, "well, since I lose more if I work out in the morning, I guess I might as well not work out at all". So, I've just learned that sometimes what I do may not be exactly down to the tee what would be the absolute best right now, but I am doing it and hopefully someday I will be able to work out when it is even more beneficial to me, until then I just keep at it!

Vitamins are a good thing, just don't use them as any form of replacement, get what you need from foods first and only supplement with a vitamin.

Good luck to you, and try not to analyze things too much as you need exercise and you are much better getting it than not. I may have not answered you directly, but I hope that I have helped you to know that exercise can never be done at a bad "time" really. Good luck with your goals and again, welcome to FT!!

Thanx for the advice.... I was just curious, because i have plenty of time during the day as i am a stay at home mom... Just tring to find the best times to do it, so i can work that around my daily schedule,I have found that I get tired and feel worn out alot more than I should. I am hoping that the exercising and the healthier eating will help that as well as toning my body at the same time..... Just tring to get my schedule and all my questions in before i start the actual exercising on monday..... So if anyone has any suggestions for me I would greatly appericate it and thanx again veda really appericate it.. :)

I Know this may be a stupid questio, but am gonna ask it anyway.... I dont like the taste of water much, but I have been making myself drink it anyway... My question is, is the flavored water just as good, bad or worse?
