you can do pushups, but they won't really give you mass.

You can use your 5lb weights (dumbells) for chest exercises.
Arm exercises, shoulders and back. The only thing is, when your muscles adapt to the weight you will need to get heavier ones.
You can also do push ups for chest, and crunches for your ab muscles, as well as bent over twists for the obliques,
The list can go on and on.
Why don't you try the home workout program from here.

i've been wondering about chest exercises. since i only have a pair of dumb bells at home and no bench the only chest exercise i could find was the push up. if i do them properly or with a weight on my back like benching suggested can i form my chest or even increase a bit of mass??? how about how about inclined press-up's?

is that effective? does it give the same results as doing them on the bench? i think i would have a full home workout with only dumb bells if this is possible because I found a ton of other exercises for my biceps, back etc..which ones do u recommend? thanks alot for the reply.

A bench gives you a greater range of motion which allows for more muscle activation. However, a limited range of motion can be beneficial depending on your goals.
