It finally makes sense why I can't digest protein shakes, soy, insoluble fiber, etc (you know, all the "good" things for you)- IBS!
I'm not excited that I have it, but glad to know what the problem was. Does anyone have dietary info for a guy like me who wants to gain mass? thanks in advance...
Do you know your trigger foods?
I've been diagnosed with IBS among other things (see profile if interested) I can drink whey protein shakes made with water but can no longer tolerate shakes such as myoplex.
My trigger foods are Sat. fats (too many), dairy products, high fructose, some fruits, too much high fiber foods, Caffeine although I found I can drink it on a full stomach.
Took me a year to figure out most of my trigger foods. Anymore my day to day menu varies VERY little but it's better than the pain I suffer with an attack.
