Good afternoon to you all. I am going to start the 12-week mass building program next week. My question is what type of supplements should I take to really pack on the muscle. I have been working out for years and have NEVER been able to pack on the kind of muscle you guys seem to have. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Not much other than increased calories will "pack on" the muscle. Some aids that will supplement a solid gaining diet would be a good protein supplement and CEE. Packing on muscle is a product of ass busting work, proper calories for growth, more ass busting work, more proper calories, and more ass busting work and more proper calories. Add in the required rest periods, and you will add muscle. No magic supplements that will do this for you.

Thanks for that bb1. Pardon my ignorance, but what is CEE? I understand the ass busting part, but my problem is nutrition. I am currently deployed to a nasty little desert country and don't have a big choice of good food. Any suggestions for that? Also, I take a protein shake once a day, is that enough? Thanks.

Protein is one of your keys. In your case where food may be harder to get so to speak, more protein shakes could very well help you. You need to eat 5-6 meals per day, at 3 hr. intervals, and each containing a decent amount of protein. Your body can store carbs and fats as I am sure you know, but cannot store protein, so if your body needs amino acids for any reason, if you do not feed a constant source of protein, it has no other place to get them but from your muscle tissue, and will not hesitate to do so.

CEE is creatine ethyl esther. I would suggest either of these products...http://www.dpsnutrition.net/product_information.asp?number=SN022&back=yes&dept=1047&last=1047
or...http://www.dpsnutrition.net/product_information.asp?number=SN023&back=yes&dept=1047&last=1047

Good luck to you!

Oh, creatine. How safe is that in a desert environment given the potential for heat casualty. I drink around 102 ounces of water now, how much more would I need to be safe? Any guesses? Also, each protein shake has around 100 calories, I am also not wanting to add any more b/f to my frame. Is that something I should worry about? Thanks, I know I have a million questions. I am just trying to get this thing right for once.

Protein is as mentioned a necessity. You will never build muscle without it. You must get it in. If you are not gaining weight now with all you do, but staying the same, that points to the amount of calories you are intaking as your maintenance level. To gain, you will need more calories anyway, and a 250-500 per day in protein would be a good way to get them. If not, you will need to examine your diet and see what kind of "junk" you can get rid of and sub protein for it.
