Anybody got any suggestions for a 1 month workout to Help Increase my Maximum Sprinting Power within 40 yards. I dont have the availability at my gym to do cleans, or hang cleans.
I have been working on this goal for awhile, I'm just looking for some extra good tips.

do you have a regular barbell? it doesn't take much space to do power clean/hang cleans...

plyometric training helps...forward jumps, lateral jumps, box forward/side jumps, 2 leg bound forward jump...running with chutes....similar exercises to what you'd do to improve vertical...

squats, jump squats, stiff-legged deadlifts...

and ofcourse to sprint....do 10 sprints with 30-45 sec rest....sprint as fast as you can...to make it more difficult.....increase number of sets or decrease rest time

stride length and frequecy are the keys to speed, rathe rit be for distance or short. Increse your stride length( distance between steps) and the frequency( how fast you feet move) and you will be faster.

yep...so then stride length is also affected by flexibility...so then you must improve hip/leg/back flexibility....

I am guessing my original post dealt more with frequency...

Well, I have great flexibility I have been stretching for years, I have a good stride length, and I do a pretty good amount of speed drills and a few plyometrics. But I think I need to do something to make my stride better, as well as my frequency. No, I don't have a barbell, I live in a Dorm, and I can only workout at my schools gym , and they restrict you from doing any olympic type lifts, which is stupid, and they dont have any lifting platforms or trap bars for deadlifts.
:( :(,
How about any running drills or suggestions ?
I usually do a 6-10 40's, 5-8 20's, Skips for height, double legged jumps, carioca, high knees, ham kicks, and maybe some stadiums skipping steps. But that is my usual speed workout.
