I was on Weight Watchers and lost 30 lbs. As soon as I stopped the program I gained it all back. Someone has recommeded the 40 40 20 ratio diet for me. I know this is for bodybuilders. Does anyone have any input here. Should I go with this to lose 30 lbs?? Please help.

Thanks

Any program you try, once you stop, the same thing will happen again. You need to find something you can live with the rest of your life. A diet is not a temporary thing, it is a way of life. All diets work because they all based on calorie intake. If you consume more calories than your body needs, no matter what ratio/diet you're doing, you're going to gain weight.

Go back on Weight Watchers and keep following the program. Once you get the hang of it, follow it for 50 years. Seriously.

You can't quit eating healthy. If you do, you will gain weight.

I should add that your body will thank you if you keep up with it.
