I'm new here, figured I should join a community for some support to my commitment.
My name is Tina and I have been attending the gym for 2-3months now.
I find it easy and mechanical to lift weights, and I am seeing results for my weight lifting; but what I really want to do is lose weight.
Losing weight = cardio + proper diet
Diet, okay it's hard but I can handle it.
Cardio, so much sweating and intensive breathing. Usually during the midst of a cardio workout (treadmill) the angel and demon persona appears. One tells me to quit while the other cheers me on... so difficult to contemplate. Anyone have any tips to overcome this psychological factor?
Welcome tinal. You might want to post this in the exercise forum or similar, you will get much more response.
This is simply a welcome forum, and not much else. Just to introduce yourself. We are delighted to have you with us, and there is tons of motivation and enlightenment to be had here.
Don't know how much fat you have to lose, but you may want to read my cardio question sticky to get some ideas in the "general exercise" forum. Good luck to you, and again welcome.
