Just started a Circuit Training program at my Gym and am tracking my daily intakes on fitday.com and am noticing I'm eating about 50% Carbs, 30% Fat and 20% Protein. Currently trying to eat 5 or 6 times a day to get my metabolism up and going to the gym 3 days a week(for 40 minutes at a time). Can I use Whey powders (drink mix) as a meal replacement for 2 or 3 of these meals and snacks?? Otherwise I'm having a hard time keeping my Carb and fat intakes down cause I really can't stand bars, so I'm essentially taking in more junk then good stuff on my snacks just to keep eating...drinks i can deal with though...got a thing with texture.
Any information is appreciated...Thanks!

Whey is absorbed to fast for a mrp. IF your watching carbs and fat and what not. I am a fan of the labrada prov 60 check it out. I go with the vanilla swirl mixed with skim milk and some ice in the blender. Makes a nice rich shake.
www.labrada.com the best price I have found on it is a www.dpsnutrition.net.

Great...thanks for the reply. Yes I am watching Fat, while I'm not too worried about Carbs (call me new but I don't buy the Atkins thing) I still want to get them in line with my Proteins. As now it's way out of whack. Even though I don't want to put on more weight just yet...first looking to drop about 15-20 lbs, then I'll look to put on more muscle mass...so I'll probably use this only once or twice a day to fill a meal just till I wake my metabolism up again.
Tell me if this makes absolutely no sense?
I know Carbs can turn to fat and protein can turn to carbs and fat...so it seems reasonable that an even balance of Calories from Carbs and Protein would make for a healthy combination. This is what I hope to achieve in my diet while getting on a good Circuit Training exercise:
Prot 100 - 400 Cals
Carbs 230 - 920 Cals
Fat 36 - 330 Cals
Wathca think? Any suggestions?

Let me clarify that...a closer balance of Calories from Carbs and Protein, where I'll be getting more Cals from Protein then I am from fats (which are currently mostly Sat fats). Currently I'm getting more Cals from Fat then I am Proteins and that just doesn't sound right.
