I am 39 years old and have 3 back surgeries within the past 12 years..

I am 5"8 and 232 I really would love to drop to atleat 190 or so and build muscle

I walk 3 miles a day and work out on machine/weights for 50 minutes and 1 hour of free weight and barbells at home 3 times a week.

I am doing 3 shakes a day for protien and cell-tech. I just started doing 4-6 small low fat/carb meals a day hoping my metabolism will pick up because I haven't lost a pound in 12 days. I avoid squats due to my back.. but lifting so far hasn't bothered it except some soreness.

I am thinking about upgrading to the year plan. what other suggestions on vitamins/supplements/books would you suggest.

Thank You

Oh.. by the way this site is killer..

one other thing.. should I cut the supplements for now and loose the weight and continue to lift.. then once I am close to 190 then start the supplements?
