My question is, if I only lift weights, do I have to do cardio for weight loss? Is it important to do both, if so, can I do the cardio in less than the 30 minutes or hour that I have been doing?

What is your situation? How much fat do you have to lose, and do you lose easily? Questions like these need to be addressed by you before an analysis can really be made, and even then, you will have to experiment to a point.

I am on my last 25 pounds..I have lost 59 since Oct.2004. I lose weight pretty quickly, I have been doing cardio 3 times a week, and about 60 minutes. I read that if I do weights, I won't have to do much cardio, the cardio seems so time consuming, and boring. I have a 6 month old baby, and I am looking to lose this weight by at least July. But I need to find the quickest but most effective for weight loss.It seems when I set my target for an hour on the treadmill, bike etc. I am interupted by the baby in the middle of workouts.

Do circuits, super sets etc. I think they are harder than cardio.
