For awhile now, ive been training back 2 days a week. Its one of my stronger points. But lets say i want to cut down on back and just train it once a week so i can focus on a weaker muscle twice a week, would i lose width in my back? Basically what im asking is when i train my stronger part less, will i lose any of "it". My back workouts have been stale lately, so maybe training back once a week could be the key to new growth?

no...it's a big bodypart...I train my back every 2-3 weeks...with 6-8 sets total....I am seeing big gains....so just do 1 high intensity workout every week....

twice a week will probably lead to overtraining.....the stagnation you're experiencing is one of the signs of possible overtraining...so once a week is plenty....

Once a week definately is better, more rest, more growth.
