Smith Machine question...

I like to use a smith machine for my shoulder and incline/decine presses and sometimes flat benchpresses. The smith machine at my gym is not totally vertical but the bar goes up and down at a slight incline.

My question is when I do the various presses, which direction should I be facing? Where the incline of the smith machine goes towards or away from me?

Thanks

I think u should sit with it at rest about your upper stomach area, and as it goes up , should move towrad your head, but not past your eyes.

Or if u can, position the bench to angle properly with your body. I guess it would all depend what u wanna do huh? I mean what u wanna work.
