I just got out of military 6 mo ago and now im going back in but have put on about 30 LBs. looking to lose them ASAP. I have done atkins religiously before and lost 30+ lb in 3 mo. with out working out at all. Was wondering if doing that again while doing LOTS of cardio would be effective . reason i ask is i see alot of ppl that say it doesn't work but from what ive expericenced it did work. from what i konw my energy goes to all from fat and with lots of cardio draining that energy i would expect to melt the fat away. I've been doing it for 3 days and alry in ketosis and i feel like i have plenty of energy and am currently up to 3 cardio workouts a day am, mid-day, and pm of 45min on cross trainer at lvl 10 resistent doing variose hill programs. and every other day im going to run on track and try and get my run back up to 5 miles plus just did it for first time and did only 1 :)
any advise would be greatly appreciated

yea im still fairly young 24 and i know my body can take alot of abuse as far as pushing myself in the gym was in military for 6 years . just got out and now regreting it then i let myself go for 6 mo and have to trim some waist fat to get back in. when i did it the first time yea i didn't realy do anything over the top as far as working out. and i lost in. but like you said after that when you eat like you did before you gain it all back. i plan on geting on a clean diet after i lose these LB i actually like the way i feel when im not eating crap. since you have been on atkins before im sure you can see the urge to use it again cause losing the LB was just so easy eat this lose LB a week. in all honesty to myself when i did gain my weight back i did do no exercise and ate terrible so i cant really contribute it to atkins yo yo effect just got lazy. but now im tirred of looking and feeling like crap.
