i really dig my girlfriend but we are always argueing about trivial things, i love her but i feel as if i am a burden to her, anyone agony aunts or uncles out there:(

well.....often the 'trivial' things are more about the bigger things....ask her if she is upset about something....women often nitpick about stupid little things when there's a bigger issue at hand....so a lot of the time if you forgot to lower the toilet seat and she gets on your case....there's a good chance that it's not about the toilet seat....sit down with her and have a talk...

well said menace.. and besides.. always remember.. they just LOVE a person who listens to them quitely and accepts everything they say....

:( nannysis. i feel the same way about my boyfriend. we argue a lot over trivial things and sometimes i feel as though he's still in the relationship just because and not inspite of.

It's a good thing to ask if something is bothering her, however don't roll over like a little puppy at her beck and call either. the statement " i love her but i feel as if i am a burden to her" sounds to me like you need to fill your life with some activities to give her alittle time to herself, and also give you something else to think about.
